Jenn Harris, Owner
Jenn Solomon-Rubio is a choreographer, performer and teaching artist. She began her training in San Diego, California and has traveled throughout the US pursuing an education in performing arts. Her stage experience includes dance, theatre, fashion and trade shows. She is an Alum of the intensive scholarship program at Academy of Performing Arts, under the direction of Kevin Patterson. Currently, she has the priviledge of studying rhythm tap and performing with the California Rhythm Project and learning from some great mentors such as Pam Thompson and Nancy Boskin-Mullen. She is an Aubrey Award winning choreographer and has been highly recognized for her choreographic work in the San Diego and Los Angeles area.
In 2008 she opened the doors of Infinity Dance & Performing Arts. Jenn has been teaching full time for the past 18 years and takes much pride in sharing her knowledge and love of performing with others. She has attended dance Masters of America Teacher Training School in Buffalo, NY, where she has received her teaching certification in Tap and Jazz and has a Module One certification through Acrobatic Arts, a professional curriculum for Acrobatic Dance.
Resident Tap & Hip Hop Instructor
Natalie Roloff has been dancing locally in San Diego County since the age of 3. She began at a small dance studio in La Mesa and transferred to a competitive studio in El Cajon at the age of 7. Natalie danced competitively in regional and national competitions until the age of 13. Once Natalie entered high school she placed her dancing career on hold and joined the competitive cheer and theater program at Granite Hills High school. At the age of 17, Natalie began teaching multiple dance classes including: preschool dance, tap, jazz and hip hop with a local recreation department. Along with teaching multiple dance classes, Natalie lead the dance volunteer program and the recreational performing group.She spent her college years dancing with Grossmont College and on scholarship at Culture Shock Dance Center. In 2014, Natalie wished to continue her tap education and found Infinity Dance & Performing Arts. She now looks forward to a bright future teaching and dancing with the studio.
Ballet & Contemporary Director and ABT Certified Instructor
Jill Gibson began her dance training in Tucson, AZ at the age of 3, under the direction of Linda Walker at the Academy of Ballet. Thanks to the training she received there, she continued on to dance with Tucson Regional Ballet for several seasons before moving out of state. After moving to San Diego in 2007, Ms. Gibson decided to pursue her BA in Dance from UC San Diego. During her time at UCSD, she had the privilege to study under and work with distinguished artists such as Patricia Rincon, Judy Sharp and Eric Geiger. Upon her graduation in 2010, she was awarded with the Stewart Prize in Choreography for her work "Mind.Body.Body.Mind...Spirit." Jill is an ABT Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT National Training Curriculum.
Her dream is to follow in her teachers' footsteps and share her passion for proper dance technique with her students in a way that excites them about dance, as well as builds constructive stepping stones for success in their years to come!
Resident Swing Dance & Show Choir Instructor
Kim Messina has been teaching for 17 years. She is the show choir and dance teacher at Lakeside Middle School where she helped to establish a well known visual and performing arts program with 2 competitive show choirs and a full time dance program and was named the LUSD teacher of the year in 2015. Kim grew up in both competitive dance and musical theater. She has had 37 years of dance experience, has been teaching swing at IDPA for the past 3 years, as well as having choreographed several shows throughout the past 18 years. Kim has been involved in musical theater productions for the past 32 years, and continue to actively participate in them. The areas of dance and performing arts have always been a passion for her, as she hopes they will become for your child.
Resident Jazz & Lyrical Instructor
Maddie started dancing at the age of 8 in Southern California. She received her formal Ballet training from Inspire School of Ballet in Eastlake, CA. Maddie was a competitive dancer on the EHS dance team for several years, under the direction of Natalie Barone. She has instructed Ballet workshops at her alma mater, Eastlake High School. Throughout her competitive dance years, she had the pleasure of training with some great choreographers, such as, Ambrose Respicio, Shana Clark, Mikeal Villela, and Kevin Frey. She is well trained in Contemporary, Ballet, Lyrical, Technical Jazz, and Fusion Jazz. Maddie is working towards her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. She has always had a strong passion for teaching and is beyond excited and grateful to start this new chapter of her life teaching at Infinity Dance and Performing Arts. She hopes to inspire young children and teens and wants to be great role model!
Resident Fitness & Preschool Instructor
Julie Jones is a certified personal trainer, holistic nutritionist, and Barre Technique trainer. She danced locally for over 10 years in tap, jazz, and ballet and taught dance through junior high and high school. She traveled to several dance conventions throughout her years as a dancer and had the opportunity to train with outstanding teachers in the dance community, including Al Gilbert. After high school she attended U.C.S.D. extended studies to earn a certificate in personal training. She taught body sculpting and water aerobics classes at a local gym and trained people privately until starting a family. After taking a break from training clients to raise children, she re-entered the health and fitness world by receiving a certificate in holistic nutrition, herbalism, Barre Technique and re-certifying her personal training credential through NASM. She has been working with people privately and online over the past few years as a trainer and taught a nutrition class for high school students. She is passionate about fitness and nutrition and is excited to work with the Infinity dancers to strengthen their bodies and prevent injury.
Resident Musical Theater & Tap Instructor
Adi is thrilled to be back in sunny San Diego after receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Musical Theatre from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She has been seen in productions with Cygnet Theatre, Lamb's Players Theatre, Intrepid Theatre Co., and 11th Hour Theatre Co., among many others. She was on scholarship with Academy of Performing Arts under the direction and mentorship of Kevin Patterson for three seasons, training in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Tap and Hip Hop, and is a current member of California Rhythm Project Tap Dance Company, under the direction of Nancy Boskin-Mullen. Adi has also been on staff as the resident acting and dance teacher with Center Stage Children's Theater for three years. Adi is excited to join the IDPA teaching staff, and can't wait to see each student's growth throughout the seasons.
